8.5x11 fact sheet.

This publication is one of five success stories from 2015 showing the impact of Washington State's Healthy Communities program on local communities. This story describes how the City of Soap Lake in North Central Washington built new, safer and more accessible streets to encourage walking and biking to work, home and all activities in between for residents and visitors.

This work was supported by the Washington State Department of Health, Office of Healthy Communities through the State and Local Public Health Actions to Prevent Obesity, Diabetes, Heart Disease and Stroke (1422) award, and the Prevention and Public Health Fund from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as part of the Affordable Care Act.
