This publication is one of eight success stories from 2011 showing the impact of the Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW) federal stimulus funds through the Washington State Department of Health. These funds are used to encourage healthy eating and more physical activity in communities. Specifically, Island County Public Health partnered with a local school to create more physical activity opportunities for their students.
