Local Farm Produce: Making Healthy Choices More Convenient

This publication is one of eight success stories from 2011 showing the impact of the Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW) federal stimulus funds through the Washington State Department of Health. These funds are used to encourage healthy eating and more physical activity in communities. Specifically, Thurston County Public Health and Social Services has partnered with a local convenience store and two local farms to provide healthy food and fresh produce for a local community.
