Washington State's Prescription Monitoring Program (Prescription Review) is a secure, statewide, online database that collects patient data on Schedules II, III, IV, and V controlled substances. It is intended to improve public health, enhance patient care and protect public safety. Eight educational materials have been created to help professionals and the public in using this database. They are all listed on Washington's Prescription Monitoring Program website.
This publication helps law enforcement officers know how to use the Prescription Monitoring Program in investigations involving controlled substances.
