This publication is intended for parks and other recreational facilities to post at trail heads or campgrounds where visitors may encounter ticks. The poster helps educate hikers and campers on how to prevent tick bites and tick-borne disease. As part of state tick surveillance, the poster also encourages those who find a tick to submit it to the Department of Health for identification.
